Earth Weaving
Montpellier city, Palavas road, Herault, South of France.
Harada design and carves a landscape sculpture on
the “Earth Weaving“ concept. 77,5 m long, 41 m large, 3,5
m high, in 42 tons of pink granite, on both side of the
highway in Montpellier, France.
At the crossroads Céreiréde-Palavas, Tetsuo Harada has designed
a sculpture environment on both sides of roads. The sculpture
accompanies the passage of archaeological and urban environment
in the mid lagoon. The sculpture becomes a door urban how
the bridge is fully integrated into the general silhouette.
All explicitly emerges as a kind of ark. The sculpture operates
a harmony between nature and culture, an ecosystem and history.
Speed
is one of the fundamentals of this work. The man is the main
actor, whether by car, bicycle or on foot. The granite is
a material that interacts closely with its environment: solid,
it vibrates eternal not least the following hours and time.
Shaped the hands of the man he acquires great strength combined
with gentleness and nobility of its grain. This sculpture
Knit Earth loop that connects, creates a global environment,

Au carrefour Céreiréde-Palavas, Tetsuo Harada a conçu une
sculpture environnement des deux côtés des voies de circulation.
La sculpture accompagne le passage du milieu archéologique
et urbain vers le milieu lagunaire.
La sculpture devient une
porte urbaine par la façon dont le pont est intégré à part
entière dans la silhouette générale. L’ensemble se dessine
explicitement comme une sorte d’arche. La sculpture opére
un rapport d’harmonies entre nature et culture, un écosystème
et une histoire.
La vitesse est une des données fondamentales
de cette œuvre. L’homme est l’acteur principal, qu’il soit
en voiture, à vélo ou à pied.
Le granit est un matériau qui interagit étroitement avec
son environnement : solide, éternel il n’en vibre pas moins
suivant les heures et le temps.
Façonné des mains de l’homme
il acquiert une grande force mélée à la douceur et la noblesse
de son grain. Cette sculpture Tricot de la Terre qui boucle
et relie, crée un environnement global, ludique et chaleureux.
